However we end up at your door, the experience runs the same way. Every BPM visit means licensed HVAC and plumbing professionals, clear communication, honest pricing, and technicians who respect your home and your time. Here’s what to expect, start to finish.
Tell us what's going on, and we'll get you on the schedule at a time that works for your day.
You'll get a confirmation and an "on the way" notification before your technician arrives — so you're never left guessing or waiting around.
Your technician walks you through what they're going to do and what it costs before any work begins — in plain language, with no pressure.
We complete the job, clean up after ourselves, and make sure everything's running right before we leave.
You already know the drill. You call a company, give your address, and there’s a pause — or a polite explanation that New Market is just outside their area, or that they can fit you in sometime next week after they finish the jobs closer to Frederick. Maybe you’ve been charged a trip fee for the privilege of being squeezed in. Maybe you’ve just gotten used to being last on the list.
So when your furnace stops keeping up on a cold January night, or the AC quits on a July afternoon and the house won’t cool below 80, the repair itself almost feels secondary to the first question: is anyone actually going to come out here?
That uncertainty makes everything worse. You’re not just uncomfortable — you’re trying to figure out whether you’re going to spend the day making calls only to get handed off, quoted a surcharge, or told to wait until the schedule clears up in Frederick. If you have kids, elderly family members, or anyone who genuinely can’t manage in the heat or cold, that waiting game isn’t just inconvenient. It’s a real problem.
I was surprised to get same day service and it was fixed the same day. It was also nice that they repaired my unit since it is so old and I don’t want to replace it at this time. Other companies tell me don’t fix it but get a new one, it was great service and Mike the technician was very informative. I was very happy and signed up with the company for maintenance.

Two other companies came out, wanted to sell me the moon, knew something was not right! A friend said to call BPM, you came out simply said not a problem will get it done! Honesty and integrity goes a long way! A+ company!

Certifications & Licensing
Manufacturer dealer status and state licenses aren't decorations — they affect which warranty terms you get on new equipment, who's allowed to pull your permits, and whose installation work the manufacturer will stand behind.

Maryland HVAC Master License #75803 · Master Plumber / Gas Fitter #86156
Manufacturer dealer certifications require demonstrated installation quality, verified customer satisfaction ratings, and completed factory training. Premier and Authorized status also unlocks enhanced warranty options on new equipment — terms that aren't available through uncertified installers. The LG Pro Platinum designation is LG's highest contractor tier, covering cold-climate and inverter-driven systems specifically.
New Market is a regular stop, not a stretch. BPM Heating, Cooling & Plumbing‘s shop is on East 4th Street in Frederick — a straight run out Route 144, which puts New Market well within the area BPM covers on a daily basis. When you call, a live person answers. If the situation is urgent, same-day scheduling is the standard, not the exception.
What the visit looks like: the technician arrives, confirms what you’re seeing and hearing, and walks you through what they’re checking before they start. If they find something, they explain it in plain terms — what failed, what the realistic options are, and what it will actually cost — before anything is touched. You approve the work before it starts. There are no surprises on the invoice.
BPM handles the full range of residential HVAC: furnace repair and service, AC repair, heat pump service, full system replacement, seasonal maintenance, duct work, mini-splits, humidifiers, and more. If a repair is the right call, that’s what gets recommended — BPM doesn’t push replacement when the system has life left in it. If replacement makes more sense, you’ll hear an honest explanation of why, with options at different price points. When a gap exists between an old system coming out and a new one going in, BPM provides a loaner unit so you’re not left without heat or cooling in the meantime.
The Comfort Club maintenance plan is available to New Market homeowners as well — two seasonal tune-ups plus an annual plumber visit, 20% off repairs, and priority scheduling when something goes wrong.

We recently had our HVAC serviced by BPM Heating and Cooling after the blower went out right at the start of a heat wave. As newcomers to Boonsboro from Montgomery County, we weren’t sure where to turn without the usual big-name options nearby. BPM is a truly family-owned business that still believes in honesty, integrity, and doing the job right not just making a quick buck. Shawn and Mike were prompt, professional, and easy to work with. They prioritized our needs, fixed the problem quickly, and communicated every step of the way. We’re glad we signed the service contract and even happier to know we’ve found our go-to team for HVAC in Washington County and beyond. Thank you, BPM!

My 30 yr old heat pump finally breathed its last during the 98 degree week of July. We suffered in our hot house, 84 degrees inside. The company lent us a temporary air conditioner 😁. It felt Wonderful! So, our new heat pump was installed within a day, no complaints. They even cleaned up after themselves. This is a great company! Thanks so much for rescuing us from the heat!

Hello Everyone!! We have had an issue with Blower motor in our HVAC. We contacted 9 HVAC companies and they are all advised to replace the entire system but Mr.Rich from BPM is very kind to ask about the actual problem and provided 3 different options one of them is to replace the actual issue instead of replacing the full system. Also, Mr.Rich informed us that, the current system is in good condition and will work for another couple of years based on his expertise in this field. The technician Mr.Mychall is very professional and he fixed the actual problem in less than an hour. This company helped to save thousands of dollars in HVAC expenses for us. I would happily and strongly recommend BPM HVAC service to everyone who is need of the HVAC and their Plumbing repairs as well.

New Market is a regular service area — not a boundary case. BPM’s shop is in Frederick, and Route 144 runs directly between the two. Same-day scheduling applies to New Market the same way it applies to Frederick proper. There is no travel surcharge for your location.
No. New Market is a short run from BPM’s Frederick shop, and same-day service is standard when you call during business hours (Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM). Urgent calls are dispatched promptly — the distance does not push you to the back of the line. For non-emergency work, next-day scheduling is common.
BPM charges a diagnostic fee for service calls — the technician assesses the system and tells you what’s wrong and what it will cost to fix before any work begins. You approve the repair before anything is replaced or repaired. There is no extra charge for coming to New Market. Financing is available through Nymeo Federal Credit Union if needed for larger repairs or replacements.
BPM’s consistent practice is to recommend repair when it’s the right call, even on older equipment. The technician evaluates the system’s actual condition — age, repair cost relative to system value, parts availability — and tells you honestly what makes sense. If repair is viable, that’s what gets recommended. Replacement is only the answer when the numbers genuinely support it.
BPM’s scheduled service hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM — there is no 24/7 emergency line. For urgent situations that fall within business hours, same-day response is standard. If you’re facing a heating emergency over a weekend, calling first thing Monday morning is the fastest path to getting on the schedule. BPM provides loaner space heaters to customers waiting for a replacement installation, so you’re not left without heat while parts are ordered or a new system is scheduled.
Standard full-system replacements are typically completed in a single day — BPM deploys installation crews of up to four technicians for larger jobs. In emergency situations, full installations have been completed within 48 hours of the decision to replace. BPM provides a loaner unit in the gap between the old system coming out and the new one going in, so you’re not without heating or cooling during the process.
BPM handles permit pulling and inspection coordination when the job requires it. Replacement installations in Frederick County typically require a permit and inspection — that’s part of BPM’s process, not something you need to manage separately. The job isn’t considered done until the inspection passes.
