Rich is knowledgable, professional, and service oriented. He told us what we needed and why but also answered all our questions to make the decision making easier. This has been a complicated problem and process for us. With Rich he has taken out much of the complication and now it's a matter of timing. On top of that it was obvious how much he cares about his clients and will do right by them. It's hard to know who to trust these days. These are one of the good guys. Thanks Rich!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The technicians arrived on time and were very professional. I am so pleased with the work. My 30 yr old heat pump finally breathed its last during the 98 degree week of July. We suffered in our hot house, 84 degrees inside. The company lent us a temporary air conditioner 😁. It felt Wonderful! So, our new heat pump was installed within a day, no complaints. They even cleaned up after themselves. This is a great company! Thanks so much for rescuing us from the heat!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We needed our heating system looked at because it wasn't heating up the house. Thankfully I called BPM and a live person answered the phone right away. Thankfully I did not have to listen to endless recordings. Instead, I spoke with Samantha which was very polite and answered all my questions. She was able to fit us in for the very next day. The service technicians were right on time. Shawn and an assistant (ooops can't remember their name) serviced our heater and answered all my questions and explained in detail each issue. In addition, he offered the maintenance plan that we signed up for and saved 20% off our repairs. Our heater is working now!! Thank you for great service!!!
Update: new outside unit installed.
Very happy. Clean work.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Techs were prompt and courteous for this visit. Steve explained the install and told me about the performance of new Lennox AC unit, BPM will change the filter each year, He showed me the drain line and 1x a year care. Mike showed me how to use the thermostat and new features for keeping the house cool.
Steve called their plumber because the storm caused significant water in the basement. Brian checked the sump pump...it works.
Mike took books out of the water overflow and both vacuumed the water. I have less clean up. Many thanks to both guys.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We bought a much older home in Frederick. Over the years we've had plumbing issues, and each time BPM was able to remedy them quickly at a great price. Unfortunately, due to the age of the pipes, the repairs they did ended up being a Band-Aid for much bigger issues we had. I ended up calling them out again when we had further leaks, and they recommended we just replace all the pipes because the copper drain pipes were all corroded. The thought of such extensive work (and the associated cost) was daunting, but I am happy to say that we were thrilled with work and even happier with their pricing! They literally went in the walls, cut out the old pipes, replaced them with CPVC, changed out the tub overflow/drain, replaced 2 toilet flanges, reinstalled the toilets, and replaced the piping for the old double vanity. The routes they took to do so meant minimal damage to the drywall/plaster.

Besides the amazing work, the entire crew was super nice, friendly, and IMPRESSIVELY clean. They placed heavy plastic material down wherever they worked, even swept/wiped the floors clean when they were down. One of the crew members (Michael, I think) was even courteous to ask me if I wanted to keep the sections of drywall he had removed in case I wanted to use it for the wall repairs. I was thankful for his consideration; when reno'ing a home, that kind of thoughtfulness goes a long way.

I cannot express how thankful I am for BPM. Their efforts made a stressful situation so much easier for us. They are definitely "our" plumbers now.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This isn't really a review of a single company—it's more of a review of the plumbing business as a whole.

If you're just looking for someone to replace your water heater, you can defiantly hire BPM Heating and stop reading here.

I chose them only after negotiating with multiple contractors and spending a lot of time trying to get a reasonable price for a very simple job. Replacing an electric water heater is hardly rocket science, yet many contractors price it as if it were.

My project was as basic as it gets: remove the old water heater and install a new one. The only difference was that I had purchased a premium, energy-efficient model. Almost every quote I received seemed to follow the same formula: take the cost of the equipment and multiply it by two or even two and a half. That markup had little to do with the actual labor involved.

Every contractor tells the same story: "We're the best," "Our technicians are highly trained," "We're fully licensed," "We provide an amazing warranty." The sales pitch is nearly identical everywhere.

Here's the reality. The manufacturer's 10-year warranty comes from the manufacturer—not from the installer. If something fails, the installer isn't going to come out and fix it for free; you'll most likely be paying them for labor. So don't assume that paying thousands more somehow buys you a better warranty.

The biggest eye-opener was the utility rebate. Installing qualified energy-efficient equipment earns a substantial rebate from the electric utility. Many contractors assure you that rebate already included into their estimate and effectively keep the rebate themselves while still charging a massive markup on the installation. Nice business model—get paid twice.

BPM Heating was the only one HONEST! company willing to reduce the price by roughly the value of the rebate, which ultimately earned them my business.

That said, don't expect miracles. Watch the installation, ask questions, and don't assume that "professional" automatically means "best practice." Like most contractors, they'll do the job, but it's still your responsibility to make sure it's done the way you want.

The biggest lesson I learned is simple: get multiple quotes, question every charge, and don't let anyone convince you that a routine water heater replacement justifies an outrageous price.

Always quickly there (e.g. this time A/C broke down just as heat wave started…BPM got someone to me within 16 hours—next morning). Staff is always punctual, knowledgeable, friendly, and will take their time to explain to you what they are doing. (They also let you know first what the cost will be before they start.). Highly recommend!

Verified Rich came out to provide an estimate for an HVAC replacement, and he was excellent to work with. He was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. I would not hesitate to recommend BPM for your heating and cooling needs.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mike Young was my technician today. MIke was very friendly and professional and explained and solved all the issues I was having for my AC unit. Mike went above and beyond by cleaning the AC unit as well as clearing out a blockage in the main unit. He also checked the freon levels on both outside units and topped off one unit that was low.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. BPM fit us in on short notice for a kitchen faucet replacement. It took BPM less time than expected and BPM lowered the quoted price! This is our 4th or 5th time working with BPM.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We loved these guys. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. We switched from having no AC and an oil furnace to all electric. They put in three mini-splits in our lower level and a duct unit in the attic for the upper level. They even recommended a great electrician. Very pleased with the work done and highly recommend them.

Verified While our existing HVAC provider won the contract with a deep discount, we were very impressed with the time and attention provided in the quote process. Rich listened carefully to our objectives and his proposal aligned exactly with our requirements and preferences. He spent a good amount of time explaining SEER ratings and current AC systems. We could tell he was a quality vendor.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I put in my service request at one in the morning on a Sunday. Larry was here at 8:00 and went right to work. Respectful , knowledgeable - he diagnosed problem to be a hardware problem which required specialized parts. Really feel good about my systems from install to maintenance and support.

Verified Very responsive. Expensive costs. They did not offer to fix/repair anything. They charged $99 for estimate (not every business does this). They do offer to subtract the fee if they do the work. I decided to use another local plumber that did not charge the estimate fee and they were able to fix issues at 1/3 of the costs.

Had BPM come back today to replace my High Pressure Switch,Motherboard and had Larry replace my Thermostat. I'm very, very happy with BPM and Larry. I appreciate their quick service, fair prices and the quality of employees that work for the company. I have had only positive interactions and positive results with BPM. Again, if you are looking for quality work with fair pricing then you need to contact BPM.

Larry from BPM came out to do a Spring checkup on my Heat Pump system, in the process my Air conditioner wasn't turning on. He discovered that a Higher Pressure Switch was burnt out and also suspected the Motherboard may need replacing. Larry really took the time to review his findings. BPM will get back with me regarding pricing and a repair date. Everyone I deal with at BPM have been courteous professional, and patient with all my questions. If your having issues with heating, cooling or plumbing then you definitely need to contact BPM. I really can't say enough good things about this company. They take a stressful situation and make things better. I'd like to thank Larry for the time he spent and for his suggestions.
Thank you BPM!

Mike came out to do a routine Winter prep on my heater, I was telling him a couple of issues we were having and he went above and beyond in checking the unit. I can say in all honesty that everyone who works at BPM are so courteous and polite. Mike really did a thorough job, took time to show me things, answered all my questions and was such a nice young man. Unfortunately for me they need to come back to replace parts. Everyone I deal with at BPM all deserve 10 Stars.

Had BPM come out to install a new Water Heater, Matt did an excellent job as always! I am very pleased with his work, always professional and polite. Have more jobs in future and won't hesitate to contact BPM.

I had BPM come out for my Air-conditioning Spring tune-up. Shawn the technician did an outstand job, he's a conscientious and hard worker - very easy to talk to. Explained what he was going to do and went to it. Shawn is the same gentleman who came out in the fall and took care of heater tune-up in the winter. Everyone at BPM are nice and professional, if you are in need of Heating/ Air-conditioning/ Plumbing, don't hesitate to contact them. You will not regret the call.
